The Marietta City Council welcomes you here and thanks you for your time and concerns. Should you wish to address the council, this is the time set on the agenda for you to do so. When you are recognized, please step to the podium and state your name and address prior to addressing council. Your comments will be limited to three minutes. The council may not respond to your comments this evening, rather they may take your comments and suggestions under advisement and your questions may be directed to the appropriate staff person for follow-up. In the event of a violation of decorum, the council president will give one warning. Should a violation continue, the council president may revoke the speaking privileges, and the speaker may be subject to removal from the council chambers by the sergeant-at-arms.

• Ordinance No. 96 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Mayor and/or the Director of Public Safety and Service to apply on behalf of the City of Marietta, Ohio, to the Ohio Department of Transportation State Infrastructure Bank for a loan for funds for the Marietta River Trail Phase V Land Slip and Soldier Pile Wall Failure Repair Project in the City of Marietta, Ohio, and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 99 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into Change Order No. 1 to the present contract between the City of Marietta, Ohio and Pickering Associates of Parkersburg, WV, for necessary changes to the Marietta Fire Station No. 1 Expansion Project, in an amount not to exceed $8,525.00, and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 100 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize Christopher L. Barkley to make certain improvements upon the street right of way in front of 722 North Seventh Street in the City of Marietta, Ohio, upon the express condition that Christopher L. Barkley indemnify and hold harmless the City of Marietta, Ohio, its officers, employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all liability arising out of the construction or use of said street right of way, and to authorize the construction of the improvements called for herein, upon the issuance of proper permits therefor by the Engineer and Director of Public Safety and Service, and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 101 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to advertise for bids and enter into a contract or contracts for the demolition of 273 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, Washington County, Ohio as part of the Marietta Water Treatment Plant Renovation and Upgrade Project; and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 102 (22-23) An Ordinance to approve the authorization of expenditures from the American Rescue Plan Act Funds and to enter into an agreement with Pickering Associates of Parkersburg, WV, for the Marietta River Trail Phase V Land Slip and Soldier Pile Wall Failure Repair Project, and Declaring and EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 103 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to advertise the intent of the City of Marietta, Ohio, to request qualifications and proposals from qualified Transportation Consultants, and/or Firms, to conduct a comprehensive Transportation Study for the City of Marietta, Ohio, and to provide to the City a report of their findings and declaring an EMERGENCY.
