The council may not respond to your comments this evening, rather they may take your comments and suggestions under advisement and your questions may be directed to the appropriate staff person for follow-up. In the event of a violation of decorum, the council president will give one warning. Should a violation continue, the council president may revoke the speaking privileges, and the speaker may be subject to removal from the council chambers by the sergeant-at-arms.

• Ordinance No. 67 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into a Contract Agreement with Smith’s Stylecrete and Construction, LLC, of Marietta, Ohio to provide construction services for the Northwest Territory Community Playground Concrete Project #1 in an amount not to exceed $21,293.00; and appropriating a portion of the American Rescue Plan Act Funds for the Project; and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 68 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to advertise for bids for the application of asphalt to various streets in the City of Marietta, Ohio and to replace/install ADA curb ramps, as part of the City’s 2022 City-Wide Asphalt Resurfacing and ADA Curb Ramp Project, and to direct that the Director of Public Safety and Service return said bids with his recommendation for acceptance to the Marietta City Council within fifteen days of the bid opening and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 70 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to advertise for bids for the repair and/or replacement of a portion of the Marietta River Trail along Duck Creek and the adjacent retaining wall caused by the failure of said retaining wall, among other work, under the auspices of the Marietta Walking Trail Slip Repair Project and declaring an EMERGENCY.
