The council may not respond to your comments this evening, rather they may take your comments and suggestions under advisement and your questions may be directed to the appropriate staff person for follow-up. In the event of a violation of decorum, the council president will give one warning. Should a violation continue, the council president may revoke the speaking privileges, and the speaker may be subject to removal from the council chambers by the sergeant-at-arms.

• Ordinance No. 269 (20-21) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the President of Council and the Auditor of the City of Marietta, Ohio, to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Marietta, Ohio, with the Local Government Services Division of the Office of the Auditor of State for the compilation of general purpose financial statements for the City of Marietta, Ohio, for the year ending December 31, 2021; at a cost not to exceed $42,880.00, and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 270 (20-21) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into a Final Legislative agreement with State of Ohio, Department of Transportation, on behalf of the City of Marietta, Ohio, (LPA) for the resurfacing of Pike Street (S.R.7) between 0.07 miles north of I-77 northbound ramp and the Marietta corporation limit, including curb ramps and pavement marking, lying within the City of Marietta; and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 271 (20-21) A Ordinance to authorize and direct the City of Marietta, Ohio to purchase an easement from Mark M. Ruff and Jill M. Ruff, married, as grantors in consideration of the sum of $3,600.00 for the benefit of the City of Marietta, Ohio Water Treatment Plant Upgrades Project and declaring an EMERGENCY. (MCCAULEY)

• Ordinance No. 272 (20-21) An Ordinance to amend Chapter 123 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Marietta, Ohio, Titled; CLERK OF COUNCIL and to repeal Chapter 123 that is in conflict with said amendment and declaring an EMERGENCY. (SHOAF)

• Ordinance No. 273 (20-21) An Ordinance to amend Section 123.01 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Marietta, Ohio, Titled; DUTIES and to repeal former Section 123.01 that is inconsistent or in conflict with said amendment and declaring an EMERGENCY. (SHOAF)

• Ordinance No. 274 (20-21) An Ordinance to create the position of Clerk in the Department of Property Maintenance for the City of Marietta, Ohio, to designate the duties thereof, to establish the salary and benefits thereof, and to amend Exhibit A of the City’s Table of Organization to Ordinance No. 186 (20-21) passed April 1st, 2021, and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Resolution No. 117 (20-21) A Resolution by the Council of the City of Marietta, Ohio to ratify and consent to the tentative settlement terms negotiated between the Mayor of the City of Marietta, Ohio and the Board of Commissioners of Washington County Ohio, which resolve litigation arising from the alleged breach of the 2011 Intergovernmental Agreement and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Resolution No. 118 (20-21) A Resolution to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into a PHA Service Agreement on behalf of the City of Marietta, Ohio, with The Community Action Program Corporation of Washington-Morgan Counties, Ohio, for the operation of a public housing agency and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Resolution No. 119 (20-21) A Resolution of support for the development of a new business park, to be named Hometown Business Park and to be situated in Marietta Township, Washington County, Ohio and declaring an EMERGENCY. (SCALES)
