2022 proved to be as challenging as 2021. The Marietta/Belpre Health Department continued to conduct COVID education, vaccination and COVID test kit distribution. We conducted a more normal business schedule in 2022. The Department applied for and received two grants and submitted our documents in the next step of accreditation. With the grants, we added a Nurse Practitioner and a Community Health Worker, both are vital to the residents we serve. I look forward to 2023 with anticipation that the Department continues to grow and offer new service.
