Marietta, OH – The Marietta Water Department has announced that rehabilitation and painting work on the 2-million-gallon East Norwood Reservoir is scheduled to begin on April 20th, 2021. This is normal preventative maintenance work that is required periodically to ensure that the water tank is working properly, and maintenance costs are kept low. The project is expected to put the tank out-of-service for 60 days. Marietta Water customers located along S.R. 7 / Pike Street (including side streets) from the I-77 Interchange to the end of service near the State Highway Patrol Post at 27761 S.R. 7, and the Reno Water District are in the service area of this tank.
