Legislation prepared for introduction at the Marietta City Council meeting scheduled to be held on May 16, 2019.
ORDINANCES
1. Ordinance No. 210 (18-19) An Ordinance to create four (4) seasonal laborer positions at the Marietta Harbor of the City of Marietta, Ohio, under the auspices of the various Washington County Job and Family Services Employment Programs, to designate the duties therefor, to establish the salary thereof, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
2. Ordinance No. 211 (18-19) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into a change order to the present contract between the City of Marietta, Ohio and Orders Construction Company, Inc., for necessary changes to the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Phase 3 and Scope 4 Project, at a total deduct of $12,801.46 from the project allowance and is a zero change to the contract amount, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
3. Ordinance No. 212 (18-19) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to advertise for bids and enter into a contract or contracts for the application of asphalt to various streets in the City of Marietta, Ohio and to replace/install ADA curb ramps, as part of the City’s 2019 Asphalt Resurfacing Project, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
4. Ordinance No. 213 (18-19) An Ordinance for the maintenance resurfacing project in the City of Marietta on State Route 7. Work includes pavement repair, asphalt resurfacing, pavement marking and curb ramp work. Begin work at the intersection of Greene Street and end work at the intersection of Washington Street. Total length of work in the City of Marietta is approximately 0.87 miles.
5. Ordinance No. 214 (18-19) An Ordinance to transfer and appropriate funds.
6. Ordinance No. 215 (18-19) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to advertise for bids and enter into a contract or contracts for the Alta and Lancaster Street Water Line Replacement Project, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
7. Ordinance No. 216 (18-19) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to apply for a loan from the Ohio Water Development Authority, OWDA for the Alta and Lancaster Street Waterline Replacement Project, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
8. Ordinance No. 217 (18-19) An Ordinance to authorize the amendment of the City’s Table of Organization so as to further authorize the employment of an additional part-time clerk in the Police Department for the City of Marietta, Ohio, for the period from June 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019, and declaring an EMERGENCY.


RESOLUTIONS
1. Resolution No. 59 (18-19) A Resolution to adopt the tax budget for the City of Marietta, Ohio, for the calendar year 2020, and to provide for submission of the same to the Auditor of Washington County, Ohio, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
2. Resolution No. 60 (18-19) A Resolution to make an amendment to the Community Development Block Grant Budget for 2019, as originally adopted and approved by Resolution No. 29 (18-19) passed September 20, 2018; amended by Resolution No. 38 (18-19) passed on October 18, 2018, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
3. Resolution No. 61 (18-19) A Resolution to authorize and direct the Auditor of the City of Marietta, Ohio to release moneys from the Law Enforcement Trust Fund created pursuant to ORC 2981.13 for the purchase of firearms for use by the Marietta Police Department as a law enforcement purpose pursuant to ORC 2981.13 (C)(2)(v); and declaring an EMERGENCY.
4. Resolution No. 62 (18-19) A Resolution to authorize and direct the Auditor of the City of Marietta, Ohio to release moneys from the Law Enforcement Trust Fund created pursuant to ORC 2981.13 for the establishment of an Honor Guard in the Marietta Police Department as a law enforcement purpose pursuant to ORC 2981.13 (C)(2)(v).
5. Resolution No. 63 (18-19) A Resolution to authorize and direct the Mayor to enter into an agreement on behalf of the City of Marietta, Ohio, with Richard L. Miller, property owner of 608 Lancaster Street, Marietta, Ohio, for a Right-of-Entry and temporary easement; for the demolition and construction work; and a perpetual easement for highway purposes; necessary for the WAS/SR676-24.0 (Lancaster Street Improvements Project), and declaring an EMERGENCY.
