Legislation prepared for introduction at the Marietta City Council meeting scheduled to be held on February 7, 2019.
ORDINANCES

1. Ordinance No. 156 (18-19) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to advertise for bids for the anticipated purchase of various street construction materials for use by the Street Department of the City of Marietta, Ohio, during the coming construction season, calendar year 2019, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
2. Ordinance No. 157 (18-19) An Ordinance to appropriate funds.
3. Ordinance No. 158 (18-19) An Ordinance to create the seasonal position of Summer Playground Program Coordinator in the Public Facilities Department of the City of Marietta, Ohio, under the auspices of the Washington County Job and Family Services Summer Youth Employment Program, to designate the duties therefor; to establish the salary thereof; and declaring an EMERGENCY.
4. Ordinance No. 159 (18-19) An Ordinance to create four (4) seasonal positions of Playground Aide in the Public Facilities Department of the City of Marietta, Ohio, under the auspices of the Washington County Job and Family Services Summer Youth Employment Program; to designate the duties therefor; to establish the salary thereof; and declaring an EMERGENCY.
5. Ordinance No. 160 (18-19) An Ordinance to create twelve (12) seasonal laborer positions in the Service Department of the City of Marietta, Ohio, under the auspices of the various Washington County Job and Family Services Employment Programs, to designate the duties therefor, to establish the salary thereof, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
6. Ordinance No. 161 (18-19) An Ordinance to repeal Ordinance No. 328 (16-17) passed on November 2, 2017 abolishing the position of Fire Clerk in the Fire Department of the City of Marietta, Ohio, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
7. Ordinance No. 162 (18-19) An Ordinance to repeal Ordinance No. 165 (08-09) passed on December 18, 2008 abolishing the position of Project Manager II/Code Administrator in the Engineering Department of the City of Marietta, Ohio, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
8. Ordinance No. 163 (18-19) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to advertise for bids for Room 9 (625 sq. ft.) in the Marietta Area Community Center at the Armory in the City of Marietta, Ohio, and to direct that the Director of Public Safety and Service return said bids with his recommendation for acceptance to the Marietta City Council within fifteen (15) days of the bid opening, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
9. Ordinance No. 164 (18-19) An Ordinance to amend exhibit A to Ordinance No. 119 (16-17) passed August 18, 2016, and as from time to time thereafter amended, to establish the number of officers, clerks, and employees in each department of the City of Marietta, Ohio.

RESOLUTIONS
1. Resolution No. 49 (18-19) A Resolution by the Council of the City of Marietta, Ohio authorizing and directing the Director of Public Safety and Service to adopt the most recent Ohio Department of Transportation Pre-Qualified Consultant List for Engineering Services for FHWA Federal Aid Projects, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
2. Resolution No. 50 (18-19) A Resolution authorizing the City of Marietta, Ohio to participate in the State of Ohio Cooperative Purchasing Program through the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, Office of Procurement Services, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
