Legislation prepared for introduction at the Marietta City Council meeting scheduled to be held on June 21, 2018.

ORDINANCES

1. Ordinance No. 80 (18-19) An Ordinance to repeal Ordinance No. 3 (18-19) passed January 10, 2018, specifically relating to the freeze, suspension, or deferring of payments of longevity and the cancelling of all scheduled increases (step raises) for the calendar year 2018 for eligible non-union employees of the City of Marietta, Ohio; to authorize and direct the Auditor to pay to said eligible non-union employees of the City the longevity payments and scheduled increases (step raises) that are due to them for the calendar year 2018 which were scheduled to take effect January 1, 2018, and subsequent thereto, but were frozen, suspended, deferred and cancelled by the passage of Ordinance No. 3 (18-19); and declaring an EMERGENCY.
2. Ordinance No. 81 (18-19) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to sign an F Permit Application on behalf of the City of Marietta, Ohio, to give the City’s consent to the sale and consumption of beer in the East Muskingum Park owned by the City of Marietta, Ohio, said permit to be filed with the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Liquor Control by the Marietta Main Street; and, in the event said F Permit Application shall be granted by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Liquor Control, to waive the operation of Section 529.07(b)(3) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Marietta, Ohio, prohibiting opened containers of beer in public places, for the premises covered by and for the duration of the event covered by the F Permit so issued.
3. Ordinance No. 82 (18-19) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into a written lease agreement with the Marietta City School District, Board of Education for the lease of the second floor (gym floor area) of the Marietta Area Community Center at the Armory located at 241 Front Street, Marietta, Ohio which is owned by the City of Marietta, Ohio, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
4. Ordinance No. 83 (18-19) An Ordinance to authorize Ryan C. Russell to construct certain improvements upon the street right of way at Terrace Avenue and 411 Oakwood Avenue in the City of Marietta, Ohio, upon the express condition that he indemnify and hold harmless the City of Marietta, Ohio, its officers, employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all liability arising out of the use of said street right of way, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
5. Ordinance No. 84 (18-19) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into a change order to the present contract between the City of Marietta, Ohio and the Ohio Department of Transportation for necessary changes for the WAS-Marietta Resurfacing & ADA Curb Ramps Project (PID #101746) in the City of Marietta, Ohio for a total cost not to exceed $20,423.76, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
6. Ordinance No. 85 (18-19) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into a contract with GPD Group to provide preliminary and final design services for the 2017 Safe Routes to School (STRS) funded infrastructure improvements in the City of Marietta, Ohio in the amount not to exceed $49,953.00, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
7. Ordinance No. 86 (18-19) An Ordinance to transfer and appropriate funds.
8. Ordinance No. 87 (18-19) An Ordinance to transfer and appropriate funds.
