The Marietta City Council welcomes you here and thanks you for your time and concerns. Should you wish to address the council, this is the time set on the agenda for you to do so. When you are recognized, please step to the podium and state your name and address prior to addressing council. Your comments will be limited to three minutes. The council may not respond to your comments this evening, rather they may take your comments and suggestions under advisement and your questions may be directed to the appropriate staff person for follow-up. In the event of a violation of decorum, the council president will give one warning. Should a violation continue, the council president may revoke the speaking privileges, and the speaker may be subject to removal from the council chambers by the sergeant-at-arms.

• Ordinance No. 217 (20-21) An Ordinance to estimate the amount of active, inactive, and interim monies of the City of Marietta, Ohio, to be awarded for the period from September 19, 2021, to and including September 18, 2026; to provide for notice thereof to depositories eligible to apply to serve as depositories of active, inactive, and interim funds of the City of Marietta, Ohio; and to establish the time for the meeting of the Marietta City Council to so designate said depositories. • Resolution No. 92 (20-21) A Resolution to authorize the Eagle Scout Project of William Casey Yannitell, a junior at the Washington County Career Center and a member of BSA Troop 207, to be completed on the grounds of Gold Star Park in the City of Marietta, Ohio. (FARNSWORTH)

• Ordinance No. 227 (20-21) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to advertise the intent of the City of Marietta, Ohio, to request qualifications and proposals from qualified Law Firms, Zoning and Development Consultants, and Land Use Zoning and Development Firms for the comprehensive updating and re-writing of Chapter Eleven: Planning and Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances for the City of Marietta, Ohio, and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Resolution No. 93 (20-21) A Resolution to adopt the tax budget for the City of Marietta, Ohio, for the calendar year 2022, and to provide for submission of the same to the Auditor of Washington County, Ohio, and declaring an EMERGENCY. (SCALES)

• Ordinance No. 228 (20-21) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to specifically waive or modify the operation of Marietta City Ordinance Section 509.08 (b) Titled: DISTURBING THE PEACE, from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. for the Adelphia Outdoor Concert Series dates Friday July 30, 2021-Saturday, July 31, 2021, Friday, August 27, 2021-Saturday, August 28, 2021 and Friday, October 1, 2021- Saturday, October 2, 2021. • Ordinance No. 229 (20-21) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into Change Order No. 1 to the present contract between the City of Marietta, Ohio and American Suncraft Company, Inc., for necessary changes to the Pine Meadows Tank, East Norwood and Glendale Reservoir Rehabilitation and Painting Project, at a total cost not to exceed $2,000.00, and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 230 (20-21) An Ordinance to amend Chapter 353 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Marietta, Ohio titled Parking Violations Bureau as enacted by Ordinance No. 17 (20-21), and declaring an EMERGENCY. (GOSSETT)

• Resolution No. 94 (20-21) A Resolution to authorize and direct the Mayor of the City of Marietta, Ohio to submit an application with the Ohio Development Services Agency, Office of Community Development, for a grant to conduct a Community Housing Impact and Preservation Program; to provide any additional information required in relation thereto; to act as the City’s representative in such matter; to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into an agreement with The Community Action Program Corporation of Washington-Morgan Counties, Ohio, for the implementation of said program upon the commitment of funds by the Ohio Department Services Agency; to approve the Policies and Procedures Manual to be used in the implementation of said program; and to establish the level of compensation to be paid to The Community Action Program Corporation of Washington-Morgan Counties, Ohio, for their services in the implementation of said program, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
