            The Marietta City Council welcomes you here and thanks you for your time and concerns. Should you wish to address the council, this is the time set on the agenda for you to do so. When you are recognized, please step to the podium and state your name and address prior to addressing council. Your comments will be limited to three minutes. The council may not respond to your comments this evening, rather they may take your comments and suggestions under advisement and your questions may be directed to the appropriate staff person for follow-up.  In the event of a violation of decorum, the council president will give one warning. Should a violation continue, the council president may revoke the speaking privileges, and the speaker may be subject to removal from the council chambers by the sergeant-at-arms.

  • Ordinance No. 111 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to temporarily suspend the operation of DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) during the Marietta Sternwheel Festival, from 8:00 p.m. until midnight on Friday September 9, 2022; and from 8:00 p.m. until midnight on Saturday, September 10, 2022, and declaring an EMERGENCY.   • Resolution No. 34 (22-23) A Resolution to accept the recommendation of the Tax Incentive Review Council and to approve the continuation of the Community Reinvestment Area Agreement entered into between the City of Marietta, Ohio and Perry Associates Holdings, LLC, and declaring an EMERGENCY.   • Resolution No. 35 (22-23) A Resolution to accept the recommendation of the Tax Incentive Review Council and to approve the continuation of the Community Reinvestment Area Agreement entered into between the City of Marietta, Ohio and Historic Hippodrome/Colony Theater, and declaring an EMERGENCY.   • Ordinance No. 122 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into Change Order No. 1 to the present contract between the City of Marietta, Ohio and Smith’s Stylecrete and Construction, LLC of Marietta, Ohio, for necessary changes to the Northwest Territory Community Playground Retaining Wall and Stair Replacement Project #2 in an amount not to exceed $4,102.00; and appropriating a portion of the American Rescue Plan Act Funds for the Project; and declaring an EMERGENCY.
