The Marietta City Council welcomes you here and thanks you for your time and concerns. Should you wish to address the council, this is the time set on the agenda for you to do so. When you are recognized, please step to the podium and state your name and address prior to addressing council. Your comments will be limited to three minutes. The council may not respond to your comments this evening, rather they may take your comments and suggestions under advisement and your questions may be directed to the appropriate staff person for follow-up. In the event of a violation of decorum, the council president will give one warning. Should a violation continue, the council president may revoke the speaking privileges, and the speaker may be subject to removal from the council chambers by the sergeant-at-arms.

• Ordinance No. 68 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to advertise for bids for the application of asphalt to various streets in the City of Marietta, Ohio and to replace/install ADA curb ramps, as part of the City’s 2022 City-Wide Asphalt Resurfacing and ADA Curb Ramp Project, and to direct that the Director of Public Safety and Service return said bids with his recommendation for acceptance to the Marietta City Council within fifteen days of the bid opening and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Resolution No. 26 (22-23) A Resolution to make amendments to the Community Development Consolidated Plan and Associated Action Plan for the years 2018, 2019, and 2020; and to make substantial amendments to the 2021 - 2023 Community Development Consolidated Plan and Associated 2021 Action Plan, and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 73 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into Change Order No. 6 to the present contract between the City of Marietta, Ohio and Pickering Associates of Parkersburg, WV, for necessary changes to the Marietta River Trail Phase V Land Slip and Soldier Pile Wall Failure Repair Project, in an amount not to exceed $14,500.00, and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 74 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to apply for, and accept, the terms of a supplemental loan agreement to OWDA Loan #7628, for Strand Associates, Inc. Change Order No. 4 in the amount of $508,800.00 for planning design services for the Marietta Water Treatment Plant Renovation and Upgrade Project between the City of Marietta and the Ohio Water Development Authority, and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 75 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into Change Order No. 4 to the present contract between the City of Marietta, Ohio and Strand Associates, for necessary changes to the Water Treatment Plant Renovations and Upgrade Project, in an amount not to exceed Five Hundred Eight Thousand and Eight Hundred Dollars ($508,800.00), and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 76 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to sign an F Permit Application on behalf of the City of Marietta, Ohio, to give the City’s consent for the sale and consumption of beer in the East Muskingum Park, owned by the City of Marietta, Ohio, said permit to be filed with the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Liquor Control, by Marietta Main Street; and, in the event said F Permit Application shall be granted by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Liquor Control, to waive the operation of Section 529.07(b)(3) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Marietta, Ohio, prohibiting opened containers of beer in public places, for the premises covered by and for the duration of the event covered by the F Permit so issued, and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 77 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Marietta, Ohio, with Sutphen Corporation, of Dublin, Ohio for the lease/purchase of a Sutphen Heavy Duty Custom SPH 100 MID Mount Platform Ladder Fire Truck with equipment and apparatus, for use by the Fire Department of the City of Marietta, Ohio, at a cost not to exceed $1,702,072.00, pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Sections 125.04(B)(3) and 5513.01(B).under the auspices of Ohio’s Cooperative Purchasing Act as administered by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, Office of State Purchasing through the Ohio Department of Transportation, and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 78 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into a contract modification to the present contract between the City of Marietta, Ohio and the Ohio Department of Transportation for the WAS-State Route 60 (Muskingum Drive) Urban Paving Project (PID #104760) in the City of Marietta, Ohio, for a total additional cost not to exceed $18,514.00, and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 79 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into Change Order No. 1 to the present contract between the City of Marietta, Ohio and Smith’s Stylecrete and Construction, LLC of Marietta, Ohio, for necessary changes to the 2021 Alley Repair Project in an amount not to exceed $17,151.25, and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Ordinance No. 80 (22-23) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into Change Order No. 1 to the present contract between the City of Marietta, Ohio and Pro-1 Electric for necessary changes to the 304 Putnam Generator and Switchgear Replacement Project in the amount of $1,700.00, which amount is included in the Owner’s Allowance, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
